Our public Darkroom is designed for those folks who just can‘t bring themselves to jump into the digital age. The darkroom comes complete with two Omega enlargers and a full selection of chemicals and trays all provided with the service. The only additional purchase needed is a pack of paper!! Make sure to call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule darkroom time as it often fills fast!!!

With the prevalence of outdoor activities in our lovely state, we at the Darkroom realize that your equipment does not live the easy life. We also know that many of you can‘t wait that six or eight weeks for your "less than mint condition" equipment to come back from a factory located halfway across the continent. That‘s why we offer complete in-house cleaning and repair services for your gear! So whether you‘ve simply acquired a little of that Montana dust on your digital sensor, or you‘re regretting not getting that waterproof case, we‘ll always be willing to give you an estimate for no charge. The best part about it? If we can‘t fix it, you don't pay. How's that for a deal?

The gallery is open all business hours and is filled with rotating exhibits from local artists. While we display exclusively photographic works, we do not turn our noses up at any style or genre and after starting in March of 2005 we have hosted a wide variety of different artists. Our monthly openings coincide with the first Friday of every month, also aptly called "Gallery Night" in Missoula. While we do book gallery shows up to six or eight months in advance, if you are interested in a showing feel free to contact us.

So you‘ve got all this great stuff (camera, computer, printer, etc.) and for some reason it‘s not meshing. Why don‘t you call one of our lab techs out and save yourself the frustration? For the fee of $20 per hour, we will visit your business or residence and completely set up your new hardware and show you how to make it interface!
